This year, I have many ideas and goals. I have things I’d like to do that I didn’t get to do last year, but I’d also like to keep up with some new things I’ve started recently.
The only thing I really ended up succeeding in from 2023 was getting a job. I had one for six months but I couldn’t maintain such a difficult schedule and graduate college with the GPA goal I had in mind, so I left. I now have another that I really enjoy and am working incredibly hard in and should be able to maintain my bachelor’s degree when I start it this year. I can actually take care of myself this time, too.
As far as weight goes, I may not have lost weight much in 2023, but I did maintain the weight I’ve had for the last year which is great, but my goal for this year is to lose another ten pounds. If I can slowly but steadily get down to a healthier weight, I’ll be very happy.
The new goals I’d like to complete this year are:
- Start my bachelor’s degree and maintain another 4.0 GPA
- Color in a coloring book daily (if possible) to give my hands something to do and my brain something to focus on instead of all the rattling thoughts I have on a daily basis
- Walk for an hour on my walking pad every day (if possible)
- Read at least 10 books before the year ends
- Post on my blog far more often than I have been preferably once a week or two)
- Cook more often and try new foods
- Go axe throwing and take an archery class
- Physically go to the gym one time by myself
- Participate in the virtual BFRB support group I’m in more often
- Make more friends and build a better support circle
It’s not a promised list because things happen and can get in the way, but they’re definitely things I’d like to do and would feel accomplished if I met at least most of these goals before December. I won’t be upset at myself though if they aren’t all met because I can’t blame myself for unexpected things getting in the way.
What are your goals for 2024?
