Hello readers! I have been gone a while, so I thought I would bring you up to speed!
I was working a job that kept me extremely busy while working on my degree, which in turn left me little time to write, go to the gym, or really have the energy to cook. I was going to switch my job for an internship, but when the plan fell through it was decided that I would focus on finishing my degree and my physical and mental health before jumping back into the workforce so I would have the time to put my all into it again.
My physical health is slowly getting much better. I had issues last month that put me in the hospital twice. I am unsure of the second time’s cause, but I have a sneaky suspicion that it was overall related to my gut health. I hadn’t been eating well when I was swamped, so I would be ordering quick dinners most nights instead of cooking something inherently healthy. I also realized how important fiber is to a diet because ever since I increased my fiber, I have felt much better and have actually been able to lose weight slightly easier. I now have more energy, eat less, feel generally better and am more motivated to exercise with little fear of my gut hurting.
As for college, I am very near the end. I have nearly two months left and am very excited to say that I will be inducted into the Honors Society for maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout my journey. I can only begin to say how accomplished I feel simply because graduating with honors in high school was a goal I missed by three points. I will be celebrating my graduation a bit more because of this achievement.
I will be attempting to release blogs on various topics weekly; however, next week I will be going through a procedure that will put me off my feet (and off the laptop) for a few days, so I will schedule one to be released while I am away and possibly the week after for a full healing period! I appreciate those who have subscribed and liked the content I have put out so far, as I enjoy speaking my mind and sharing my experience with those who relate and like to discuss.
Thank you for reading and stick around for more!
